Here at The Spanish Linguist, we of course maintain a particular focus on Spanish - English language services, and so we can guarantee that you will receive the highest quality service from us: the most accurate and complete translations and the most professional and effective classroom or personal training, all with a quick turn-around and at the most competitive prices in the market.

Translations

Our translators are highly trained and this is reflected in the high quality translations that we provide. Where other translation companies outsource your translation to contractors or secondary language services, we deal with your translation ourselves - working closely with our translators to ensure you receive a cost-effective turn-around that you are delighted with.

All costs will be fully discussed and agreed with you prior to the start of each project.

Our translation pricing includes:

• All administration and management

• Use of one or more native, highly educated and very experienced translators

• All required formatting in commonly used software programs (eg. MS Word, Wordperfect, MS Excel)

• Project management

• File Management

Proofreading

We offer a thorough and comprehensive proofreading service for translated and native Spanish documents. We provide an exacting standard and high degree of care with regard to the tone and content of the project.

Teaching

We have extensive experience in teaching in a variety of environments. We specialise in teaching adults at their workplace. A different variety of courses is offered and lessons are arranged in blocks of ten hours. We offer our services within the Edinburgh area.

Billing

Our Translation and Proofreading services normally require partial payment in advance of the project start, with the balance of payment upon delivery of the final product.

Our Teaching services are typically agreed and paid for in advance.

For our clients who have a good payment history, we can issue invoices on a monthly basis, but of course we are are happy to work with you to agree a suitable billing arrangement on a per-project basis.
