I was born and bred in Barcelona, Spain. Shortly after I finished my Masters in English Philology there (Languages, Literatures and Linguistics) in 2004, I moved on to study an MSc in Translation Studies at Edinburgh University. I also studied a Freelance and Feature Writing Course at London School of Journalism to complement my services.
I am a qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI), thereby abiding to the highest of standards in the industry in terms of confidentiality, quality control and codes of professional conduct. Being a one-person premium business means I can control the quality of every single service offered from start to finish. I'm also deputy coordinator of ITI's British Food and Drink network.
I run my premium language business from my Glasgow office for clients in the UK and worldwide. I work with direct clients from a wide spectrum of businesses, therefore creating an interesting portfolio of services. I travel to Spanish-speaking countries regularly so that I can keep up with both cultures, languages and traditions; which results in seamless translations that read well in the target language.
Some of my passions include: Reading everything, Design, Lifestyle, Media, Adrenaline sports, Fashion, Arts, Travel, Food & Drink and spending time with my people.
