  • MSc in Translation Studies. University of Edinburgh. Dissertation on Audiovisual Translation: The Dubbing and Subtitling of Pulp Fiction into Spanish and Catalan. 2005.
  • Masters in English Philology. Languages (English, Italian and German), Literatures and Linguistics. Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona. 1998-2004.
  • Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI).Passed my exam on Arts, Media and Literature. Deputy coordinator of its Food & Drink network.

  • Also studied a Freelance and Feature Writing Course at the London School of Journalism in 2015..
  • I have experience as the only in-house Spanish linguist at a multinational premium drinks company. I translated thousands of corporate business, luxury goods, whisky distillation and marketing materials.
  • I have offered my services to several language schools, businesses and universities in the UK and abroad, so I have been trained in Education through teaching, coordinating staff and creating didactic materials for adults at different institutions.

Every year I keep up with my personal and professional CPD: I attend courses or conferences, I give talks to university and secondary school students about their career prospects as translators, I research and read industry-specific items, I travel to Spanish-speaking countries, etc. Here you can find my certificate for 2013/2014.
